Transforming a Horse Trailer into a Homework Study
For this special project, I was asked to help transform a second-hand horse trailer into a unique and personal space for an 11-year-old girl. As a birthday gift from her parents, this charming trailer was to be converted into a cozy bedroom and study area, nestled on a finca near a ranch on Mallorca.
The journey began by moving the horse trailer from its original location and setting it up on the new property. Once in place, I went to work on the transformation.
I painted the trailer, designed and built a custom desk and crafted a bed that could be lifted up to maximize space. My wife added a personal touch by painting a beautiful horse portrait, which we framed to enhance the space and give it a welcoming feel.
The result is a magical, functional room that’s perfect for both rest and study and it’s all set to be a cherished retreat for the young girl.
