Restoring a Window Frame in Art

In this project I had the opportunity to restore a window frame in Arta which had to be replaced due to woodworm damage.

The original window and shutter were carefully treated and restored, while a brand new frame was custom made to fit. The old fittings were reused to retain the authentic charm.

As the new frame was a different colour, I carefully painted it to match the original aesthetic. Once the frame was complete, the old window frame was removed and the walls prepared for the new installation.

The end result is a perfect blend of old and new - a restored shutter, a fresh window frame and a seamless look that feels just as it did before, but with improved durability and attention to detail.
